Frequently Asked Questions
While many recipes will call for French dressing, or even just using Thousand Island dressing, Big Mac sauce is actually neither of those. It is a blend of mayo, ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish, vinegar, and other spices and seasonings. For this recipe I use my own homemade burger sauce recipe.
You can pile this casserole on top of shredded lettuce to make a delicious Big Mac salad. Alternatively, you can try my Bacon Cheeseburger Salad Recipe.

Oh my goodness! Had planned on leftovers for lunch...nope my family ate it all! Will definitely be buying your cookbooks for more like this! Tomorrow is the corned beef salad to double up on that terrific Russian dressing!!!!
Susan says
This was terrific, taste just like a Big Mac. This is a keeper!
Ann says
My guests kinda looked at me weird as I prepped this casserole (dressing, pickles) but I knew it’d be great. And when it came out of the oven all browned and bubbling, smelling fantastic—they were quickly believers!! Thanks for such a great, easy, fun and tasty recipe!
Karen says
Made this last night! It seriously tasted just like a Reuben sandwich! It's the caraway seeds - they give you that rye bread taste! It was awesome. I just heated up the mixed up corned beef, swiss and sauerkraut for a couple of minutes in the microwave to get the cheese all melty. Definitely going to make this again and keep it on regular rotation! Thanks, Kyndra!

Oops, I meant to leave that comment on your Reuben salad recipe!
Last night I made the big mac casserole, and I really can't believe you were able to recreate the taste of a big mac, bun and all, without the bun! It was fantastic. After these 2 successes in a row, I'm going to buy your cookbook! Keep these delish recipes coming!

Absolutely AMAZING!! A hit with the whole family, picky kids included!
Cheryl K says
Very Tasty, tastes more like a cheeseburger than a Big Mac but still great. Kids loved it too and that means a lot!
Gail says
Is a serving size 1 cup?
Kyndra Holley says
To get the serving size, you'll just divide what's in your casserole dish into 6. It should yield a bit less than a cup.
