The best homemade paleo pizza sauce recipe
I am a huge fan of making my own low carb dips, dressings, and sauces. Especially when it is a low carb pizza sauce. Scratch made sauces are so simple to make, and so much healthier for you. Once you taste a great homemade sauce, it is hard to ever go back to using store bought sauces. The best part is that you know exactly what you are putting into your body and it is considerably less expensive, as you are not paying for the convenience factor.
This low carb pizza sauce could go easily go toe to toe with the pizza sauce in your favorite local pizza joint. Everyone knows that building the perfect pizza starts with a deliciously robust pizza sauce.
When I first started living a low carb lifestyle, I knew that pizza was going to be one of those foods that I never wanted to give up. So instead of just diving face first into a pizza delivery, I set out to make as many different low carb pizza variations as possible. With so many options at my fingertips, how could I ever possibly feel deprived? But along with all these low carb pizza options, I also needed a healthy low carb pizza sauce to go with it. So I did what I always do and I just made my own.

Healthy, easy and delicious! Made last night to use in crustless pizza. I did add one drop of tabasco.

This is some great pizza sauce! I made it a couple months ago to use in Kyndra's Pizza Egg recipe and wound up using it on other stuff (very versatile). This time, I basically made a triple batch, using a 29oz can of tomato sauce (a bit more than triple), 18oz can of tomato paste and triple the spices. Between using a couple Tbs for the Pizza Eggs, and cooking down a little, I had about 5 cups left, which I used my FoodSaver to seal 4 1-cup increments and freeze (I don't use that much at a time), and left one cup in the fridge to use. I am set for a while!! 😀 Thank you for another great recipe! <3

Yummmmy!!! This is great homemade pizza sauce. First time making a pizza sauce and it turned out awesome. We used McCormick neapolitan pizza seasoning for basil and oregano, but my husband added more of this seasoning and actually turned out better, even without the onion flakes on the ingredients. Thank you so much for this recipe, we just use cheese wrap and put some pepperonis with this sauce and it’s just so good. I highly recommend this recipe, anybody would love this for sure. Now we can enjoy pizza again like we did before this keto diet. Thumbs up 👍

You really have great recipes but I wish you would include TOTAL Carbs. I know many people who count total carbs not net.
Thank you for providing recipes.

Hi Phyllis, I almost always include the total carb count, especially in newer recipes. However, I highly recommend inputting your specific ingredients into a macro calculator as sometimes the total carb count in ingredients can vary by brand.
