Frequently Asked Questions
While many recipes will call for French dressing, or even just using Thousand Island dressing, Big Mac sauce is actually neither of those. It is a blend of mayo, ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish, vinegar, and other spices and seasonings. For this recipe I use my own homemade burger sauce recipe.
You can pile this casserole on top of shredded lettuce to make a delicious Big Mac salad. Alternatively, you can try my Bacon Cheeseburger Salad Recipe.

I love this! One of new faves. (I really miss Big Macs!). I didn't have the patience to make the Russian dressing, so I took the lowest card bottle thousand island I could find, mixed it half & half with mayo and added salt, pepper & garlic powder. I'm sure your Russian dressing would have been way tastier, but this worked for me. Thank you!
Scoob says
Nevermind, yours is home made. Dang again

Made this last night for the hubster, who is still kind of skeptical about low-carb. He LOVED it--ate ALL of his, then finished mine! He said the fresh made Russian Dressing really topped it off perfectly. Gave it to him for lunch today, and he said, "Just as good cold!" Thanks so much for this recipe!

Your recipes are bomb! thank you for making low carb diet so much more delicious and not boring! I did the big mac casserole and my husband wanted me to make more the next day. However, it's important to mention to not put too much salt during the preparation of the ground meat because once we add all the cheese, it'll make everything much saltier. Thank you and keep posting amazing recipes

I can't tell you how much I LOVED this recipe! I doubled the Russian dressing so it was always ready to go. I use it in Deviled Eggs too (delish!) I work from home so most days I need a quick lunch. I cook a pre-made patty on the stove, top it with lettuce, pickles, cheese, and the dressing. It's the most incredible quick lunch EVER! Love your site! Thank you for sharing!
Mary says
Awesome idea for lunch Connie--I will try this tomorrow!
