You will never need packaged onion soup mix again. 4 tbsp of this mix is equal to one store bought package. This mix really adds something special when mixed with ground beef for burgers on the grill. It also makes a great dip when mixed with sour cream or plain Greek yogurt.

How much would you use in 2lbs of meat for meatloaf?

I found.dry beef boilion att Jungle Jims in Cincinnati Ohio

Hi . is there a beef bullion available that is better suited for keto? Thus has starch in it and sugar twice and the msg. If you know of something a little better, would you please print it for the recipe? Thank you. Been following you for 3 years. Keep up the good work.

As a beef bouillon substitute, I've often used ground up dried mushrooms, nutritional yeast, and a few herbs and spices.
Edward R Blanchette says
Is this comparable to Lipton Beefy Onion dry soup mix? I really miss that and would love a substitute
Peace Love and Low Carb says
Yes, it is. I never use it as an actual soup, I am always adding it to things like meatloaf and burgers. So good!

It is Amazing in meatloaf!

What do you recommend for bouillon?
The ones that you linked to contain all kinds of junk. Even the better bouillon has maltodextrin, which is from GMO corn.

This recipe looks great, although I have not been able to find a dry beef bouillon that doesn't contain nasty additives either. I did find a site that gives instructions on how to make your own, although it does look like a rather involved process and requires the use of a food dehydrator: http://www.lovingourguts.com/dehydrated-broth/

I know this might sound a little stupid, but what does the (2Tbs Peace and Love) mean at the end of the recipe.
Peace Love and Low Carb says
I put it at the end of every recipe because my site is called Peace, Love and Low Carb and I believe every recipe should be cooked with a little peace and love
Brenda says
Thanks, I did think it might be something like that but I thought I should just check

Where do you find "powdered beef bouillion"? The link goes to Amazon, but all I can find is "granulated", and only then in multiple packs, which is way too much for me.
Linnae Bosma says
Where are all of those carbs coming from? The onion flakes? This looks really good but the carb count freaks me out!
Kyndra Holley says
The carb count is coming from all the spices and the 23 grams is for the entire batch.
