1 – 12oz. Container of Marinated Fresh Mozzarella Balls
1 Large Egg
1/4 Cup of Heavy Cream
1/4 Cup Panko
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese – Grated
1 Cup Crushed Pork Rinds
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
1/2 tsp. Oregano
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
(2 Tbs. Peace and Love)
Heat about 1 inch of olive oil over medium-high to high heat. (I use a non-stick wok for frying.
The high sides reduce splatter and it makes for easy clean up
Combine heavy cream and egg and fork whisk
Mix panko, pork rinds, parmesan cheese, and all of your seasonings. – This will be your breading
Roll each ball in the breading, dredge in the egg wash, and roll in the breading again.
Fry in the oil, turning until they are golden brown. This will happen very fast. It is important to use
a high heat to flash fry the breading without melting the cheese.
SERVE AND ENJOY!!!
This entire batch is only 10 net grams of carbs. I served it with a roasted garlic marinara sauce which was 6 grams of carbs for 1/2 cup.
