These Keto Everything Bagel Dogs are low carb, gluten free, and have all of the flavors of the original, without the carbs.
How to make Keto Bagel Dogs
Jon and I eat a lot of grass fed beef hotdogs. For the longest time, any type of bun was off the table. We usually just pan fried them in grass fed butter and topped them with my Slow Cooker Kickin' Chili Recipe.
Hot dogs make me think of grilling out and grilling makes me think of summer, red checkered table cloth covered picnic tables and lots of condiment options. Even though it is the middle of winter, we can still have a little indoor grill out ... or, bake out.
The best Keto Bagel Dogs
Remember when I made the Hot Ham and Cheese Roll-Ups with Dijon Butter Glaze and I said that I had a lot of fun things planned for that low carb, gluten free dough recipe? Well these low carb bagel dogs are one of those things.
This gluten free dough recipe is really versatile and you can use it practically any way you use regular dough.

Gosh, these are so forgiving! I make them all of the time. I just made the dough, wrapped the dogs (I use Costco dogs cut in half), wrapped them in parchment paper, then put them in a ziplock bag in the fridge. The dogs are best fresh out of the oven, so I want to just cook them when I want to eat them so they're fresh every time. Thanks again for the great recipe. <3

Love love love these! They were delicious! I didn't have bagel seasoning so I used some Onion Onion from Tastefully Simple. Turned out great. Will definitely make these again! Thanks for all the great recipes.

Delicious! The dough is GENIUS! I accidentally used moist mozzarella, so the dough spread a bit, but next time it'll be perfect! Can't wait to try this basic dough recipe out on desserts! Thanks again, Kyndra!

Do you use a stand mixer for this or any other of the cheese dough bases?? I make this as bagels and I've made cheese Danish & mixing the cheese by hand gets to be a PITA and doesn't always completely combine but I'm wondering if a dough hook on a mixer might do it? I would like to start with something inexpensive like a Hamilton Beach?

I always mix it by hand since it needs to be worked over so fast to avoid the cheese hardening again.

I'm making these for the first time today since my grandson is here visiting. I used my kitchen aid mixer with the dough attachment and it mixed great!

Love the Fathead dough & bagel dogs!!! Can these be done without coconut flour? We just can't seem to get on board with the flavor. What is it's purpose? Thanks so much for your wisdom!! We LOVE your cookbook!! 🙂
Peace Love and Low Carb says
Lisa, I am not typically a fat of coconut flavoring. Trust me when i tell you that these do not taste like coconut at all. you would never even know that coconut flour is in there.

Lisa, I believe the coconut flour is to make it even lower carb. You will not taste it, believe me; we're are eating these deliciousness right now, still warm. Mine came out fluffy; also this dough is much easier to handle then the original fathead one.

Can you freeze these? Would love to pre-bake them to take them camping...and warm up on bbq or fire.
Peace Love and Low Carb says
I have not tried freezing them. If you do, please report back and let us know how it works out. 🙂

I made these last night and they are yummy! I think I may try them with Greek seasoning instead of the Italian next time. I'll definitely be making them again. Thank you.
