Description

This Garlic Dill Tartar Sauce is the perfect balance of tangy and savory. It's delicious on seafood and even veggies. But my favorite way to enjoy it is with these Crispy Air Fryer Fish Nuggets

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (get my homemade recipe here)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 medium pickle, chopped, about 3/4 cup
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons pickle juice or lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until well combined. Keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • If you want to substitute dried herbs for the fresh herbs in this recipe, a good rule of thumb is to use 1/3 the amount. For example: 1 tablespoon of fresh herbs can be substituted with 1 teaspoon of dried herbs.
  • For a smoother, non-chunky version, you can give all the ingredients a few quick pulses in the food processor.
