If you lift weights, it is okay to call yourself a weightlifter. Do you go on runs? Then you are a runner. Do you feel like you have unleashed your inner athlete? Then you are an athlete. You don’t have to play an organized sport to be an athlete. Do you write? Then you are a writer. See the theme here? Empower yourself with positive self-talk. Do what makes you happy and do it in a time frame that ensures that you stay happy throughout the process. Don’t rush through life trying to do everything and be everything all at once. I made that mistake for far too long and will not be making it again. I am back to finding my “inner happy” and chasing my passion. I’m just running after it a little slower 🙂
