The day came and went in a flash. Hours of cooking, followed by the sounds of laughter and conversation through full mouths. Kids running around playing, adults catching up and reflecting on the past year. At least that is how it went down in our house this year. We hosted Thanksgiving in our new home and it was heart warming to cook for the family and to get to spend some quality time together. We kept the Thanksgiving spread low carb and gluten free… right down to the pumpkin pie and cinnamon rolls. We used some of the recipes from my Low Carb Thanksgiving Table post. But as per the holiday norm, we ended up with quite a bit of leftovers. While I love the flavors of Thanksgiving, I don’t want to eat them everyday.
